Shipping policy

ORDER PROCESSING TIME

We usually prepare and ship all orders within 1–3 business days.
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information.

Please note that shipping time does not include processing time.
If you select express shipping, this only speeds up the carrier’s delivery time — it does not expedite our internal processing period.


SHIPPING TIMES

Delivery time varies by location. Generally:

  • Within Canada: 1–5 business days

  • Remote areas: longer transit times may apply

During holidays, high-volume periods, or extreme weather conditions, please expect possible delays.

If your order is experiencing a long delay, feel free to reach out to us through our Contact Us page — we are always happy to help look into it.


SHIPPING WITHIN CANADA

We currently ship within Canada only.
All packages are delivered by independent third-party carriers.
Once a package has been handed off to the carrier, delivery timelines and handling conditions are no longer within our control.


INCORRECT ADDRESS / RETURN-TO-SENDER

Please ensure that all shipping information is entered correctly at checkout.
If a package is returned to us due to:

  • Incorrect address

  • Incomplete address

  • Failed delivery attempts

  • Customer not available to receive the package

→ A reshipping fee will apply, and original shipping charges are non-refundable.


LOST, STOLEN, OR “DELIVERED” BUT NOT RECEIVED PACKAGES

Once a package is marked “Delivered” by the carrier, it is considered successfully fulfilled.

If you cannot locate your package, please:

  1. Check your front door, porch, mailbox, and around your property

  2. Ask neighbours or building management

  3. Look for a delivery notice card

  4. Verify the address provided at checkout

If it still cannot be found, you will need to contact the carrier directly to file a claim.
We will gladly provide any information you need for this process, but Rosie’s Sweet Atelier is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or marked “Delivered” but not located.


RETURNED ORDERS DUE TO FRAUD ALERTS

If our payment processor flags an order as potentially fraudulent, it may be placed on hold while we try to contact you for verification.
If we are unable to reach you within 7 days, the order will be cancelled and refunded in full.

WILL MY ORDER MELT DURING SHIPPING?

Our products are handmade and delicate, and while we package everything with great care, we do not use insulated packaging or ice packs. Because we ship through independent third-party carriers, factors such as weather, temperature, transit delays, or how long a package sits outside after delivery are outside of our control.

While melting is not common, it can happen during warmer seasons, especially if the package remains outdoors, is exposed to heat, or experiences extended transit times.

If your order arrives softened or slightly melted, it is still safe to refrigerate and enjoy once it has firmed up again.
By placing an order—especially during warm months—you acknowledge that you are ordering at your own risk, and Rosie’s Sweet Atelier cannot offer refunds for melting or heat-related changes that occur during transit.

We kindly ask you to keep weather conditions in mind when placing your order.


FINAL NOTES

• We do not offer insulated packaging or temperature-controlled shipping.
• We do not take responsibility for heat-related changes, melting, or softening during transit.
• Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has been processed.
• We cannot modify the shipping address once the order has been shipped.
